Three Victoria Police detectives who bashed an armed robbery suspect have been sentenced to an intensive corrections order.
The former members of the disbanded Armed Offenders Squad, pleaded guilty to the assault of a suspect during an interview at the St Kilda Road Police Centre in 2006.
Two men, Mark Butterfield and Robert Dabb have been sentence to a ten-week intensive corrections order.
The third man, Matthew Franc will serve a five-week intensive corrections order.
Other charges against the three will be heard at a later date.
