A 35-year-old woman who denied her child medical treatment for religious reasons has been given a two-year suspended sentence for manslaughter.
The four-year-old boy died of pneumonia and a kidney disease in 2003.
In the NSW Supreme Court Justice Rotham said proper medical treatment would have prevented the death.
He said the woman was dominated by her husband, a church minister who has since died.
