A man who sent chocolates and flowers to a District Court judge, then robbed a Cash Converters store last July, is to spend at least four years in prison in South Australia.
Craig Grant James, 30, left the gifts for Judge Marie Shaw after she had varied his bail conditions.
Later the same day he went to the Gouger Street Cash Converters store in Adelaide and told the attendant he had a pistol.
James stole jewellery worth more than $50,000.
He has been sentenced to more than seven years in prison, with four years non-parole.
