A 46-year-old man has been sentenced to eight years' jail for his part in the importation of drugs worth millions of dollars into Western Australia.
Glen Olston was arrested in the Nullarbor town of Eucla a year ago.
Police found 50,000 MDMA tablets and more than three kilograms of methylamphetamine (known as 'ice') hidden inside a metal container in the ute he was driving.
The District Court was told the tablets had an estimated street value of $2 million while the methylamphetamine was worth about $600,000.
Olston will have to serve six years before he can be released.
