A doctor jailed for taking explicit photographs of his female patients in 2004 and 2005 has been deregistered indefinitely.
Gurmit Dhillon, 65, is serving a two-year jail term for secretly taking digital pictures of nine women after unecessarily asking them to remove their underpants.
Police found 70 pictures after seizing a camera, hard drive and three laptops.
Dhillon is eligible for parole in October.
The Medical Professional Conduct Tribunal today ruled he should be suspended as a GP indefinitely for bringing the profession into disrepute.
He has also been ordered to pay $15,000 in costs to the Medical Board.
