A former teacher at Canberra's Marist College will spend two years in jail for the sexual assault of his students.
John William Chute, 76, - also known as Brother Kostka - pleaded guilty to 19 acts of indecency on young teenage boys at Marist College between 1985 and 1989.
The victims were aged between 11 and 16.
Chute was this morning sentenced in the ACT Supreme Court to two years full-time custody, one year of weekend detention and a three year suspended sentence.
