The District Court in Adelaide heard that Hue Thi Le, 29, sold eight balloons of heroin to an undercover police officer in June 2006, in exchange for $700 in cash and cigarettes.
The deals were done at Arndale Shopping Centre at Kilkenny and premises at Mansfield Park equipped with security doors and surveillance cameras.
The court heard Le was probably easily manipulated by others to sell what the judge called the most harmful of dangerous drugs.
She has been given a non-parole period of three years, but Judge Wayne Chivell suspended the penalty due to her guilty plea and because of the woman's two young children and another on the way.
