A 28-year-old man has been sentenced to 12 months in prison for breaking into a building in Sydney's south-west which includes the offices of a federal MP.
Scott Merheb from Narellan pleaded guilty to two counts of break and enter and using housebreaking implements to get into the building overnight.
It houses the Campbelltown offices of the federal Liberal Member for Macarthur, Pat Farmer.
Merheb will be eligible for release in nine months.
