Govt to review immigration detention cases

The Federal Government has announced a review of the 61 cases of people who have been in immigration detention for more than two years.

Federal Immigration Minister Chris Evans says he is deeply concerned that so many detention cases have taken so long to resolve.

He says he will personally examine the cases of all 61 people over the next few weeks to look at how to resolve them.
