A Supreme Court jury has acquitted a 34-year-old Perth man of murdering an intruder at his industrial unit last year.
The jury deliberated for eight-and-a-half hours before finding Grant Davis Hodgson not guilty of murdering 39-year-old Dean Wilson at Seville Grove in March last year.
Mr Wilson died when an artery in his arm was severed during a confrontation with Mr Hodgson.
The jury also found Mr Hodgson not guilty of manslaughter.
He walked free from court a short time ago saying the verdict was a relief.
